Our visit to Daylesford and then having lunch in Trentham. A lovely country drive taking in sights such as a railway and waterfall.
A visit to the Museum of Australian Democracy and Eureka. This place has been refurbished to the tune of $5million and I think it was better before. Nearly all of the artefacts have been removed and replaced with multi-media displays.

Ballarat Begonia Festival 2011 The Ballarat Begonia Festival held every March. Well worth a visit.
Spending Australia Day 2013 at Ballarat , with Big Boys Toys exhibition held at the Ballarat Gallery, and visiting the grandparents.
The always pleasant walk in Warrandyte along the Yarra River, starting from the shops.
Springfest, held mainly around Lake Wendouree. Didn’t have the DSLR with me this time, but my Samsung S2 has performed quite well.
