As part of our tour to cover the surrounds of Inverloch before the holiday house is no longer in our hands, we went to Korumburra.
As we had sold our Inverloch accommodation, a visit to the Wonthaggi State Coal Mine was in order.
Our visit to Daylesford and then having lunch in Trentham. A lovely country drive taking in sights such as a railway and waterfall.
A visit to the Museum of Australian Democracy and Eureka. This place has been refurbished to the tune of $5million and I think it was better before. Nearly all of the artefacts have been removed and replaced with multi-media displays.
A visit to Anderson’s Mill in Smeaton and The Convent Gallery in Daylesford. Taken during Anderson’s Mill Festival 2013.
Sovereign Hill 2012. A full day at Sovereign Hill, and still we missed out on things.
Scienceworks 2012, plus animatronic dinosaurs. This proved a good time to visit as the dinosaur exhibition was almost over.
A visit to Port Albert and sights along the way, including the Tora wind farm and the nearby Agnes Falls. Agnes Falls are beautiful and impressive. Well worth a visit.
A short visit to Korumburra’s Coal Creek historical park. It’s now free, but quite a few exhibits have disappeared including the saw mill; a part of the park I loved.
