A short break in the new car. Visiting some of the scenic views in the Grampians plus a visit to a surprisingly good zoo.

The Grampians

There is much to see in this beautiful natural area. We only did a couple of the sights that are easily reachable by vehicle.

Halls Gap Zoo

An excellent zoo which contains a large variety of animals considering its small size. There are a number of gardens and walking paths to explore and the animals are easily viewed in their enclosures.

It kind of reminded me of the zoo featured in the movie We Bought a Zoo, with Matt Damon. Well worth visiting.
