A walk from the Eltham Environs Walking Group.

Walk Description

From the Eltham Environs Walking Group, walk 21M

Commences from car park 100m in from The Boulevard. Head in an easterly direction for 1.5 km towards Victoria St. To do this, follow the southern rim of the park, going initially up past a toilet block on the right, then down.

Along the route, McCallum Rd and houses are on the right, and a small bridge will be seen at the bottom of a hill on the left. Turn left on the track near Victoria St, proceed to the toilet block, then turn right. Cross Victoria St, turn left, and almost immediately right onto a path that passes Schramm’s Cottage.

The path descends steeply to Rieschiecks Reserve. Walk once around the circumference track, and then return to the path that leads back to Schramm’s cottage. Again cross Victoria St. Turn right at the toilet block, and walk along the path that runs parallel to Cricklewood Dve.

Cross Church Rd, then follow a path veering right, then left to King St (at bridge). Cross this bridge, turn left at the path that is adjacent to The Boulevard. Before returning to the cars, turn left to walk around Ruffey Lake.
