Walk Description

From the Eltham Environs Walking Group, walk 16M

Commences just north of the bridge in Long Gully Rd, about 500m off Alma Rd. (sign partially concealed). Initially proceed north along Long Gully Rd, and after 5 minutes walking, turn right into Turnung Rd. Walk up hill, and along the road through open country. Just beyond the top of the hill, a T intersection is reached. Turn left on the continuation of Turnung Rd through lightly timbered ground. At a further T intersection, 900m beyond this point, Motschalls Rd is reached. Turn right here, close to a house. Walk along Motschalls Rd for 500m, when the road turns sharply to the left. Continue down and along this road to the intersection of Broad Acres, Mostschalls and Long Gully Rds. Turn left into Long Gully Rd (Long Gully Rd also goes off to the right, across a bridge: ignore this), and return to the cars (about 2.3km).
