Bali Break, 1988
In 1988 I organised a trip to Bali. Accompanied by David Skinner and Michael Whiteley we all had a great time in the sun for a short two weeks.

Walking the trail from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair. The 60km walk from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair is a must-do for any bush walker (as I discovered after doing it!).
The Great Victorian Bike Ride 1987, Stawell to Melbourne. A ride organised by Bicycle Victoria in the late 80’s.
A family holiday with Mum, Dad, Stuart and Jo. The first shoot using my new Practica LTL3 and the first time flying.
I bought my Praktica LTL3 when I was in Year 11 (aka Form 5 in 1979) and was my introduction to 35mm SLR photography. This is a great reliable camera which saw many years and miles of service.
The book that kick started my interest in photography and processing my own films to prints.
The Olympus Trip 35 is an excellent camera that belonged to Karen’s father. It took clear photos using several ranges on the lens, the light meter used a solar cell and never needed a battery.
A chance entry in a competition where you answer a question in so many words won me a free camera!
A very compact and handy camera, the Minolta Pocket Autopak 50.
The camera, that in the early 70’s when I was in the later years of primary school at Hampton Park, introduced me to photography, the Baby Brownie from Kodak.
